Chapter 1. Prologue
“……Is this right?”
The man glared at the trade window.
[Steel Longsword +7]
Grade: S
[Exchange Condition: 5 High-grade Mana Stones]
His hand stopped.
An S-rank weapon.
It wasn’t something that could be easily obtained on this floor.
“The price is weird….”
“Five High-grade Mana Stones?”
“Isn’t this a scam?”
Someone immediately pressed the purchase button.
《Exchange completed.》
The sword vanished.
“What? It already sold?”
“What was that speed?”
“Hey, I just clicked it, but it didn’t go through!”
At that moment.
《Exchange completed.》
《Exchange completed.》
The trade window updated in succession.
“Wait, another one was listed.”
“With the same options?”
“Isn’t this… the same item?”
“There are several of these?”
[Steel Longsword +7]
Grade: S
[Exchange Condition: 5 High-grade Mana Stones]
《No Purchase Limit》
A short sentence caught his eye.
“…No limit?”
“That makes no sense.”
“Hey, can’t we just keep buying this?”
Again, an exchange was completed.
And another one was listed.
“It’s up again!”
“Again? Again?”
“They keep appearing!”
“Hey, hey, hey, click! Click!”
Hands moved at the same time.
《Exchange completed.》
“Ah, no!”
“It got taken again!”
“Who keeps taking these?!”
“At that speed, is that even a person?”
The transaction history was quickly pushed downward.
There was no end in sight.
S-rank items kept piling up.
“How many is that now?”
“More than ten!”
“No, it keeps increasing?”
“Hey, is this really right?”
Someone enlarged the trade window.
“Look at the options.”
“They’re all identical.”
“They’re… stamping these things out.”
The murmuring quieted.
“If this is crafting….”
“The speed doesn’t add up.”
“You’d need at least two months to make one.”
“How many of those are they releasing right now…?”
The trade window updated again.
S-rank.
Another S-rank.
Someone let out a hollow laugh.
“Hey, wouldn’t we get rich if we just kept buying these?”
“No, I’m telling you, someone’s sweeping them all up before that!”
“Or maybe these are cursed?”
“What if we touch one and it latches on to us…?”
Their hands stopped.
“Is this… okay to buy?”
“No, this is—”
The words cut off.
The finger scrolling down through the transaction records stopped at some point.
“…Hey.”
The word slipped out in a small voice.
“Look at this.”
At the very bottom.
A single label.
[Provider: Kim Jin-woo]
The same name continued all the way to the end.
