Prologue
Seo Hyun-woo was carrying out his duties and responsibilities as the student council president again today.
Originally, he should have had a goal, whether for his career and future or to become a high-ranking Hunter.
But that was the goal the original Seo Hyun-woo was supposed to have, and his own goal was fundamental, yet utterly realistic.
[Graduate from Miterich while maintaining your position as student council president.]
[If you fail to meet the condition, you will die.]
‘Are they doing this because they want to kill me? Ah, no, I guess not. The student council president is the strongest person in the school, after all.’

Chapter 1
Miterich.
It was a specialized Hunter training institution created by agreement between the government and the Hunter Committee.
Miterich was quite famous, and many high-ranking Hunters had graduated from it.
However, while Miterich’s training methods were highly effective, they were also so bizarre that they remained a subject of public controversy even now.
Of course, no matter how impressive Miterich was, not every student who graduated from it could be exceptional.
Among the enrolled students, only a select few displayed dazzling achievements that stood out.
And the students with that kind of potential had already taken the upper positions in the Student Council and were steadily solidifying their standing.
Miterich’s Student Council was located slightly away from the main administration building.
Compared to the other buildings, it was on the smaller side, but its exterior and surroundings boasted both beauty and grandeur.
The Student Council Headquarters, with yellow and orange blended together, felt both splendid and dignified.
On top of that, it was surrounded by a garden full of flowers and trees, enough to make it resemble a Western aristocrat’s mansion.
Tap, tap-tap.
Slide, slide. Click.
From the Student Council President’s office inside the Student Council building, the sounds of a keyboard and mouse being used could be heard at the same time.
At Miterich, aside from overall administrative work, the remaining matters had to be handled by the Student Council and its subordinate departments.
That was why it was routine for the Student Council President, the representative of the Student Council, to stay in the president’s office every day and handle work.
‘Why am I doing this here?’
Seo Hyun-woo, Miterich’s Student Council President, moved the mouse quickly and flipped to the next page of documents.
No matter where a document came from, he was checking its contents meticulously.
Suggestions or problems came from the students, while notices and all sorts of official cooperation requests came from Miterich’s Administrative Office, and reviewing and processing each of them one by one took time.
‘Obviously, I’m doing this to survive. Though I don’t really know what surviving has to do with carrying out the Student Council President’s duties.’
Seo Hyun-woo paused for a breath and lifted his teacup.
There was plenty he wanted to say, but there was no one anywhere who would listen to him.
Who would believe him if he said he was not the original Seo Hyun-woo, that he had come from another world, or that he had no idea how things had turned out this way?
[Graduate from Miterich while maintaining your position as Student Council President.]
[If you fail to meet the condition, you will die.]
‘It’s really clear-cut and nice and simple. I don’t know what crazy bastard set a condition like this. Hah.......’
Seo Hyun-woo shook his head and leaned back.
At that, the backrest of the chair slowly reclined with a creak.
Perhaps because he was using an expensive chair befitting the Student Council President, it felt comfortable.
‘Still, when I think about it carefully, it isn’t all bad. It’s better than becoming some person I’ve never heard of or seen.’
Seo Hyun-woo thought optimistically and closed his eyes.
It did not matter whether this world truly existed or had only been temporarily materialized.
To survive, he simply had to struggle somehow to maintain his position as Student Council President.
However, since being the Student Council President meant being the strongest student in Miterich, he also had to defeat those who wanted to take that seat.
‘Even to me, the abilities the Student Council President has are ridiculously overpowered. Unless someone has overwhelmingly superior combat experience or mana, they can never beat the Student Council President.’
Seo Hyun-woo knew, at least roughly, the people who lived in this world and the incidents that would occur.
For example, this world’s protagonist, the main characters, the supporting characters, and the other people with no presence.
In other words, this was the world inside a novel he had once read for fun, if only for a short while.
‘The protagonist is probably trying to enroll in Miterich or has already enrolled and started acting. The protagonist and I will have to fight over this position someday.’
Seo Hyun-woo tilted his head as he recalled the concern he had pondered before.
But no matter how many times he thought it over, the conclusion was the same.
‘I guess I do have to put in some effort. As long as things flow according to the original story, no major problems should occur.’
In the end, the protagonist was the most important person in this world, and he was connected to countless incidents and accidents.
If Seo Hyun-woo interfered even a little there, unforeseen variables could arise.
In other words, that meant the story could become different from the one he knew, and perhaps an accident no one could handle might occur.
‘In any case, the Student Council President doesn’t lose to the protagonist. That doesn’t mean he wins, either. All I have to do is end it in a draw as in the original plot and send him out of Miterich.’
Seo Hyun-woo finished organizing the concerns in his head and sipped his tea.
In truth, the Student Council President’s importance in this world was not all that great.
Although he was called the strongest among Miterich’s students, he rarely actually appeared.
He would occasionally show interest in the protagonist, and at the end, he would merely duel the protagonist over the position of Student Council President.
‘Then what happens after the protagonist graduates from Miterich? I don't even know what will happen during that brief interval, do I?’
The Student Council President was undoubtedly Miterich’s strongest student, and no one had taken this position from him so far.
However, stories related to the Student Council President had hardly ever been mentioned in the original plot.
On top of that, after the protagonist graduated from Miterich, had he not been completely forgotten, only barely appearing again in the latter half?
‘......There seems to be something here. I can’t let my guard down.’
Seo Hyun-woo frowned and put down his teacup.
He wondered if he had been thinking too complacently until now.
Could he really be certain this world would flow according to the contents he knew?
If even a small variable existed, it would be better to prepare for it.
‘Then there’s only one way. I just need to get stronger from here. But can I get any stronger? The Student Council President is already strong enough.’
Seo Hyun-woo instinctively felt the contradiction and tapped the chair’s armrest with his fingers.
The abilities Seo Hyun-woo possessed were extremely outstanding, and no one could easily face him.
If he graduated from Miterich, he would likely become a top-tier Hunter in no time.
‘None of the students can beat me. If I just follow the story properly.......’
“President, you seem very busy. Busy enough that you did not hear me knock.”
At the sudden voice, Seo Hyun-woo immediately turned his head.
A female student in a black uniform was walking toward him.
She had long silver hair hanging down, softly glowing pale violet eyes, and porcelain-smooth, pure white skin.
Seo Hyun-woo knew exactly who she was.
“Ah, sorry. I was lost in thought for a moment, so I didn’t hear you knock.”
“Did you just say you were sorry?”
“Is there anything else I should say besides sorry?”
“.......”
The female student stopped walking and slowly studied Seo Hyun-woo’s face.
His behavior and way of speaking were far too different from the Student Council President she knew.
If he had done this only once or twice, she would have considered it a simple whim, but from some point on, he had only ever shown this side of himself.
“Has something bad happened?”
“Something bad? I’ve never had anything but bad things happen to me.”
“Were you perhaps making a joke just now?”
“You could see it as a joke. In some ways, it’s sincere, too.”
“Are you playing around with me right now?”
“I wasn’t playing around.”
“......?”
Hearing that, the female student found it strange, yet gradually began to feel certain.
Something had definitely happened to the Student Council President.
Otherwise, there was no way he would make such trifling jokes with her.
“You are not acting like yourself, President. You were never this careless before.......”
“Hmm....... That’s true. The original Student Council President...... I mean, my personality is very rigid and the kind that only says what’s necessary, right? That’s why I don’t have a single friend around me, and you and the department heads have only ever spoken to me about work.”
“You know yourself well. Are you already feeling disillusioned at such a young age?”
“Even more after coming here. I keep wondering why I have to live like this.”
“Why are you showing such weakness?”
“Rather than weakness, wouldn’t it be more accurate to say I’m showing you my honest side?”
The moment she heard that, the female student finally became certain that the Student Council President had lost his mind.
The usual Student Council President never showed openings and never had private conversations.
Yet now, with her standing before him, he was pouring out his personal worries.
“It seems more serious than I thought. How about taking sick leave and going to a hospital?”
“Thanks for saying that, but this isn’t a problem that will be solved by going to a hospital. It will only be solved if I die or see it through to the end.”
“Were you even thinking of suicide? No matter how much work has piled up, there is no need to be that pessimistic.”
“Hearing the Vice President say that gives me a little strength. I’d like you to help me a lot from now on, too.”
“......You really must be struggling.”
Baek Seo-yeon, Miterich’s Vice Student Council President, was inwardly flustered but answered calmly.
Those words could never have come out of the Student Council President’s mouth.
He had likely been pushed into a crisis serious enough to corner him mentally, or he had been unable to withstand the excessive workload.
“When I think about it carefully, it isn’t that hard. There still isn’t any student who can beat me, right?”
“Now you finally seem to have returned a little to your usual self. That is a relief, but you must not let your guard down. There are many students aiming for your seat, President.”
“That includes you. Couldn’t you be satisfied after making it as far as Vice Student Council President?”
“Then how about handing me the Student Council President’s seat and becoming the Vice Student Council President yourself?”
Baek Seo-yeon gave him an icy look and glared sharply at Seo Hyun-woo.
As expected, it seemed she should not have cheap sympathy for the Student Council President.
The moment she let her guard down even briefly, he immediately tried to keep her in check.
“That would be a little difficult. In my heart, I’d like to hand the Student Council President’s seat to just about anyone, but my circumstances really aren’t good.”
“I see. I hope you do not lose that mindset. I will always be aiming for your seat, President.”
“That is somewhat comforting. A beautiful young lady says she will only be watching me. What man would dislike that?”
“......Are you truly not going to go to a hospital?”
For the first time, Baek Seo-yeon wore an expression of disbelief and let out a sigh.
Until now, the Student Council President had never praised her even once.
On top of that, he had gone out of his way to use the description “beautiful,” so she instinctively felt repulsed.
“If the Vice President goes with me, I could at least consider it.”
“I refuse. I would rather spend that time training.”
“That’s the Vice President for you. Of course you’d answer that way.”
