Chapter 6: The Strongest Below the Saint Emperor Realm

At the side, Elder Chen watched everything with cold eyes, with no intention of intervening.

But in the very next moment, an abrupt change took place.

Uncle Fu let out a cold snort.

A powerful pressure instantly surged out from his body, directly forcing Feng Qingyu to the ground until she could not move at all.

The calm on Elder Chen’s face finally vanished.

“Senior, please stay your hand! We are from the Qingfeng Sacred Land.”

“People from the Qingfeng Sacred Land? What business do you have here with this old man?”

Uncle Fu did not withdraw his pressure. Frowning slightly, he looked at Elder Chen and spoke.

Inside, Elder Chen was cursing furiously. In such a desolate wilderness, where had a senior of the Saint King Realm come from?

Because Uncle Fu had not made a move earlier and had concealed himself extremely well, Elder Chen had failed to notice him.

But now, as that pressure erupted, he finally sensed that Uncle Fu was actually a supreme expert at the peak of the Saint King Realm.

“Senior, please hold your hand first. This young lady is the direct disciple of the Second Elder of my Qingfeng Sacred Land.”

Elder Chen looked at Feng Qingyu, who was pinned to the ground, his face filled with anxiety.

If anything happened to Feng Qingyu before his eyes, then there would be no need for him to return to the Qingfeng Sacred Land at all.

He might as well find a place and self-destruct.

Hearing this, Uncle Fu considered it for a moment before finally withdrawing his pressure.

And Feng Qingyu was also someone who knew how to endure and bide her time. She knew that this was not the moment for revenge.

“Thank you, Senior, for showing mercy.”

Feng Qingyu rose to her feet and forced a smile as she spoke.

But Uncle Fu did not give her any face. Instead, he looked toward Elder Chen in the distance.

His expression seemed to say only one thing to Elder Chen.

If they did not give him an explanation today, then neither of them would be leaving.

Seeing this, Elder Chen hurried forward and shielded Feng Qingyu behind him.

“Senior, we came here today to look for a man named Lu Xunxian.”

“He has some ties with my junior niece Feng Qingyu, and certain matters must be settled face-to-face.”

Hearing that, Uncle Fu frowned slightly and said, “I do not know that person. Please leave.”

Although he did not know what relation those two had with his master, his instincts told him that the first thing to do was send them away.

Once his master returned, he could ask him about it and leave the matter for his master to decide.

“Senior, I truly know that man very well. Please tell me where they are.”

Feng Qingyu looked extremely anxious, like a devoted wife frantic with worry for her husband.

But Uncle Fu did not change his mind. He merely shook his head and said, “I am sorry, but I truly do not know. Please leave.”

“Otherwise, do not blame me for showing no mercy.”

Feng Qingyu still wanted to say something, but Elder Chen stopped her.

“My apologies, Senior. We will leave at once.”

With that, Elder Chen forcibly took Feng Qingyu away.

That was because he had already recognized Uncle Fu’s identity. If they did not leave now, they really would be kept here for good.

Watching the two leave, Uncle Fu did not stop them.

The two maidservants behind him, however, were clearly itching to move.

“Sir, are we really just letting them leave like this?”

Those two maidservants were not simple figures either. Both were supreme experts at the peak of the Emperor Realm.

“Let them go.”

“I can tell that woman probably knows the master.”

“Once the master returns, let the master handle this matter himself.”

Uncle Fu waved his hand, stopping the two maidservants.

Seeing that, they could only abandon the idea of chasing after them.

Meanwhile, Elder Chen fled down the road with Feng Qingyu and soon reached the edge of the Myriad Demons Mountain Range.

Only after seeing that Uncle Fu had not pursued them did Elder Chen finally slow down a little.

“Elder Chen, what realm was that man in just now? Why did you not make a move?”

Feng Qingyu pressed him, dissatisfaction plain in her voice.

Elder Chen, however, still looked shaken. Recalling what had just happened, he was no longer nearly as polite to Feng Qingyu as before.

“Junior Niece Feng, do you know who that man was just now?”

“That man just now was...?”

Feng Qingyu was baffled. Could it be that, in front of her Qingfeng Sacred Land, someone still dared to act so brazenly?

Elder Chen’s expression turned incomparably solemn as he said word by word, “That man was a powerhouse on the same level as your master.”

“On the Tiansheng Continent, he is known as Fu Qitian, The Strongest Below the Saint Emperor Realm.”

“It is just that I do not know why his cultivation has fallen to the Saint King Realm.”

Recalling that scene from earlier, Elder Chen felt deeply puzzled.

Feng Qingyu froze when she heard that, and a wave of fear rose in her heart. She clearly had not expected that Uncle Fu would be such an overwhelmingly powerful existence.

But then she thought of something else, and her expression immediately turned grave.

Lu Xunxian was nothing more than a mortal. Why would he appear near a Saint King Realm expert?

She did not suspect that there was a problem with the Bloodline Tracking Art her master had taught her.

It was just that she had already spread out her divine sense earlier, yet she had not detected any trace of Lu Xunxian.

“Could it be that Lu Xunxian passed by this place with the two children, offended Fu Qitian, and was killed by him?”

Other than that, Feng Qingyu could think of no other possibility.

However, until Lu Xunxian’s death was confirmed, Feng Qingyu would not let go of even the slightest possibility.

If Gu Tiansheng were to find out, it could affect her entire future.

But with Fu Qitian there, and given her own standing together with Elder Chen’s strength, they absolutely did not dare return and question Fu Qitian again.

“Elder Chen, let's go back.”

“Very well.”

Elder Chen had wanted to leave this place for a long time already, so he immediately swept Feng Qingyu up and headed in the direction of the Qingfeng Sacred Land.

At the same time, Lu Xunxian had already brought the two children to a sacred land.

Lu Xunxian closed his eyes, and his divine sense swept outward, thoroughly probing everything within the sacred land.

Almost at the same instant, several figures shot into the sky from the depths of the sacred land.

“Who dares come to my Primordial Sacred Land and cause trouble!”

A breath later, those dozen or so figures appeared before Lu Xunxian, glaring at him fiercely as they surrounded him.

They were, without exception, patriarchs of the Primordial Sacred Land, and every single one of them was a powerful existence in the Saint Emperor Realm.

Facing the encirclement of more than a dozen Saint Emperor Realm experts, Lu Xunxian remained utterly calm, looking as though even if Mount Tai collapsed before him, his expression would not change.

The two little ones in Lu Xunxian’s arms were not afraid in the slightest either. Instead, they looked at the dozen-plus Saint Emperor Realm experts with curiosity written all over their faces.

As for Wangcai at Lu Xunxian’s feet, under the pressure of more than a dozen Saint Emperors, he could not help but tremble.

“Fellow Daoist, who are you? And why have you come to my Primordial Sacred Land to cause trouble?”

Among the dozen-plus Saint Emperors, the one at the front stepped forward and looked at Lu Xunxian with an expression that made it clear he would not let the matter rest without an explanation.

Of course, he did not attack at once.

Judging from the intensity of the divine sense Lu Xunxian had displayed earlier, he was most likely a Saint Emperor Realm expert as well.

Before they were certain they could kill a Saint Emperor, no faction would act rashly.

After all, if they offended a Saint Emperor beyond reconciliation, the consequences would be impossible to imagine.
